1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked Modules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 6 hours to complete-this time is not billable to the hospital. Shift: 12hr Days + call Call Required: one night per week and up to every other weekend RCIS or ARRT required – Unit: Cath Lab – # of Rooms: 3 – Certs & Licensure: BLS, ACLS, RCIS or ARRT required – Cases: 3000 per year – EMR: Cerner, Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation – Charge Nurse: Phil Moisuk – Techs: Yes. Can either be CV Techs or Rad Techs with Cath lab experience – Weekend & Holiday Requirement: Up to every other weekend – Scrubs: Either RN or CV Tech – Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Intensivist – IV Team: Yes – RT 24/7: Yes – Pharmacy 24/7: Yes – Shifts: 3, 12 hour shifts – Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts – Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath (high acuity). TAVR and Mitraclip procedures. Some peripheral vascular. Chest Pain center accredited. STEMI tertiary referral center. COVID REQUIREMENT: • Medical declination -accompanied by a physician’s note • Religious declination, no supporting documentation is needed.
1. Current and valid RCIS or ARRT required.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate
3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate
4. Can either be CV Techs or Rad Techs with Cath lab experience
5. CERNER EMR experience preferred
