need 2 sup refs (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked Modules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 6 hours to complete-this time is not billable to the hospital. Unit Cath Lab # suites/labs 3 beds Certs required for Techs -RCIS and BLS is required. Does not have to hold any radiology licenses. ***Must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases.*** We also do peripheral work in the cath lab but only about 20%. #cases per day on average 10 cases per day on average EMR/Equipment Cerner Charge Nurse Yes Cath lab/IR Techs Yes Call requirement – Techs/response time: Call evening after 1730-0700 next day and Week end call 0730 friday 0700 Monday. Call frequency based on staffing. can be 12-16 days per month including weekend rotations response time is 30 min. Holidays Call for holidays. Assignments are rotating and assigned Scrub Color/provided Hospital provided scrubs Tele No Vents yes Cardiologist hours/on call IV Team Yes RT 24/7 yes Pharmacy 24/7 Yes Shifts 10 hr shifts. Varied shift with 7am start time generally. Floating No Floor specific orientation depends on skill level – 1 or 2 shifts generally Common cases Cath – All cardiac invasive procedures, minus structural heart. Peripheral procedure; carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diag. We also do peripheral work in the cath lab but only about 20%.. There is a separate radiology department that they will not be floating to Additional Notes 2 years of cath lab experience is required.
